Le Château de ma Mère

In the heart of the Lauragais countryside, in the Aude department , "Le château de ma mère" welcomes you in a Gîte or Chambres d'hôtes version, for a charming and warm stay, halfway between Toulouse and Carcassonne.

The Endibats estate is a beautiful manor house surrounded by a vast wooded park, which in the 18th century was the refuge of a great orientalist, doctor and writer, friend of Lamartine and Chateaubriand.
Located on the edge of the Rigole de la Plaine which feeds the Canal du Midi , the place is ideal for walking or cycling.
Outside, there is a large enclosed garden with a play structure and century-old linden trees; a large saltwater swimming pool (14x7m), table football, and table tennis. Two small ponies, a horse, and a dog are the princes and princesses of the castle.

In its self-catering version, the house has a fully equipped kitchen, two double bedrooms, and a family suite.A living/dining room. The 3 bedrooms have their own bathrooms. The cottage can therefore accommodate 9 people; the outdoor areas (swimming pool and garden) are shared with the owners.

These three rooms are also offered separately as guest rooms ; breakfast included in the price will be served in the lounge or under the linden trees in the garden.
